Nice looking rocket mate, i've just started to look into a bit of rocketry for fun recently too, Did you see the really nice video of how easy it is to use sorbitol instead of sugar in your propellant? Youtube it its nice.

I have not got back to you either as I am in exam mode, wont be too much longer.

Impressive air-breathing projects going on down under. Been following University of Queensland projects for years. What a coincidence you should mention sorbitol. I've been cooking with it lately....sorbitol, paraffin, carbon black.
Hope to light my candles next year. I plan to post a few of my test on Youtube. Keep me in mind.

Airrocket how do you make your nozzles, or what do you make them from to stand up to the kind of punishment your giving them. I've heard basonite isn't bad, but forming really nice cones with it i havent had much luck. Can you make wet molds or anything, some kind of procedure i haven't seen?

Just received my nozzles today. Busy tomorrow will post pics Thursday/Friday. Nozzles are thin - graphite CNC turned from my CAD files.
I'll be coating the tube ID with ceramic paint and gluing nozzles in with ceramic glue Thurs and Friday. Static test first flight (ejector test) this weekend. Dual deploy PICO AA-2 (single LiPo) drogue to main Accelerometer / Baro Altimeter in the mail.
I use simple vacuum, heat shrink and resin infussion (epoxy,phenolic)molding processes with composite matrix materials. What I learn here will apply to my future Bomarc and FDL-7 projects. Simple homemade vacuum cure oven.

CoE seems a bit topheavy? I wanna build one!
I probably meant CoP but am too drunk to know...

CP/CG is overly stable still (tube fin effect helps)flies great straight as an arrow. Just don't try it with low thrust ejector motor.
Better sober up before ya build...these things can hurt ya!
