Hmmm. Mike Everman. THE Mike Everman, a LIAR? the deuce you say, man.
Here's maybe a more germain piece of that conversation. Oh, and I still don't know what it means (Shhh. no one tell me):

I just don't care enough to ask him, or to look it up, and I'm not being naive about to whom he refers. I'm cool with never knowing. Maybe if you put a name to your collaboration, he wouldn't make one up. There, I've just given the whole subject far more regard than I wanted to in the beginning.

How hard is it for Mike Everman to be friends with everyone? Very. Perhaps Mark has a point about the Pulse Jet Ambassador thing. ;-)

For the record, I suggested at the time that he retract it, but that's as far as I go.
For the record 2, you're a good designer and it shows, Bill. You lessen your impact on the community with efforts to discredit M.

Talking like a pirate does not qualify as experience, this should be common sense, as pirates have little real life experience in anything other than smelling bad, and contracting venereal diseases

There are members of this forum that have watched this crap go on for years, coming always from the same individual. They must wonder what you're thinking, protecting and condoning that person's behavior...

ADIÓS.
My point has always been (and maybe I didn't make it clear), I don't know what the words mean, and didn't care enough to find out if they were derogatory to you and Bill or not. Seemed to me it could be laughed off and not turned in to all this drama. Hell, if he were referring to me, I might have made t-shirts with BFA on them.

Just to clear the air, if at all possible.
Today's abuse of my powers started with a call to M., to tell him that I was going to "wish his post into the cornfield" because of it's attacking nature. He agreed to re-post with just tech later. Meanwhile, Bill got all dramatic and wrote off the forum again, so I deleted M., moved Bill, and have been playing fireman ever since, fending of dire claims, losing my mod powers, and all after a thouroughly f**ked day at the office.

Anyone else want to pile on?
What, have I gone and befrended someone unpopular? Have I really abused my position? I deleted HIS post only, but called him as I would any of you I have phone numbers for, to make sure that nice tech content not get lost.

I moved things to places where we could talk about them.
I haven't been able to take one minute to say: "Please don't go, Bill"
It sticks in my craw a bit tonight, as it is whiny and dramatic and I wish all the parties that make so much trouble would bury the hatchets OFF-LINE!

Yeah, guess I'll take a break from reading EVERY post and deleting the BIG TITS threads (here they come, Bruno). Ah, it was glamorous. I guess I should petulantly stomp off, but I have little in the way of pride left tonight.

I can see where I've been misunderstood.

Just to say a little something if I can.

I have little to no idea what's going on, as I rarely have time to delve into the jet portions of the site these days, I try andkeep a prescense in the Rocket forum, as that's my main interest, and I know some of my stuff there.

However, this sounds all too familiar from reading what's been posted here, and although I take no position on what's going on, I find it weird how Mike E was de-moted, he seemed to do a fair amount of work keeping this place spic and span, and all I'll say is we could do with him back as a Mod.
Off to college, back in a bit.

For the record again, I am compelled to say that I deleted ONE post of M's. It became a total blur trying to keep the crap out of Marten's thread, defend myself on and off line, and make sure I was preserving everything in off-topic, which is what it all was.
This whole episode was a complete and utter soul sucking bummer. If I weren't getting so much money and prestige for this...

Can we all just forget it?

[quote="Ben"]I'm sorry, Mike. Here's a photo of a functional rocket belt, just for you. You're the second person to ever see this photo. Don't tell anyone.

THANK YOU Ben!!
Who was flying it? The same guys on Utube clips or a new group??

More details when you have a moment, got some sleep etc would be appreciated.

Oh and any pictures of Tim Picken's truck mount hybrid firing PLEASE.
Cheers

LOL - Wish I could tell you... :-(

Oh well, it's cool to see one fly in person. I saw the Bell original fly in about 1966, back when people didn't worry so much about crowd control. I was less than 75 feet away, just a child sitting on my Dad's shoulders, and it just about blew my eardrums out...
