oil tank choice

What is a good choice for a oil tank somthing easy to work with and also easy to find. The turbo that it is going on is a small 1990 saab inlet ID is 1.75in. Thanks.

Your oil tank should be at least a gallon or two(the bigger the better) depending on the use of it. If your going to be doing short runs then a gallon should be fine. But if you are planning on putting it on a go-kart and/or running it for long periods of time a bigger oiltank(2gallons) is needed unless of coarse you have a oil cooler. You should probly have an oil temp reading so you can monitor the temp as to not have the turbo explode. Remeber the smaller the turbo is the faster it is going to spin. 1.75 in is really small so expect turbo speeds to exceed 185,000 rpm's(very fast) and if you have a oil failure at full throttle expect lots of very fast shrapnel flying everywhere.
