About 25 years ago (or so) was about the time the Gluhareff was in Popular Mechanics(?) And having read that when I was 19; I think they were talking in the article about two pressure jets powering a BD-5! Heady stuff for a young inventor!
I took a notebook with me on a car tour of the UK's finest (or most remote, anyway) castles and pubs, all the while designing my blower/pressure jet powered car, always imagining it to be a spitting copy of a Porsche 928.... anyway here's some of the exerpts:

Mike Often wrong, never unsure.

Mike, here's the BD-5 you were talking about.... sorry for the shitty repro quality.

Re: Why I liked watching Luc and Crew
Hi Mike,
Having some spare time, I browsed through all the "Pressuer Jet" threads so I could refresh my memory with all the subjets (Brings back good old "Souvenirs" and some bad too ... He he he).
Then I found this one ...
The only thing I can comment at this point is ... Keep on liking and especially "Watching", for in the next few weeks we will publish something you guys will find "Totally Genius" and really like.
Even my self keeps on saying ... "Why the heck did'nt I think of this before???" ...
This new outcome will not only raise our actual PHS System to the level of Super PHS System (Cooler, quieter and more powerfull) but it will also and immidiatly launch two new products ready for markets.
Stay tunned ... For I have stoped "Inventing" and resumed "Designing"
Regards,

I guess sometimes, inventors should stop "Inventing" and start "Designing" ... He he heAn "Inventor" is a person who as an example, has invented the "Wheel" ... A "Designer" is the one who will take 2 wheels, one axle and a box ... And make this a trailer

Re: Why I liked watching Luc and Crew
Gad sure looks like allot of my old, and new notepads. Except for the comic stuff, I drew landscapes mostly, and castles, and mechanical insects, and lots of jet engines, and boats, and submarines, and cars, and planes, and...
And still do.
Difference is now I some times build something. ( mixed results on that )
See attached...
Originally designed as the core of a Light weight ( hence the choice of materials ) Pneumatic hand tool where fast reversibility was required. I later realized that, if a more heat resistant set of materials were used, those Pre-chambers could be pulsed combustors. Never did determine just how I would cool the solid turbine. . . .
Count me in as a Luc watcher.

In the process of moving, from the glorified phone booth we had to the house we have.
No real time to work on jets, more space, no time.
Life still complicated.
