The speed where its start to deliver trust can be very low, I heard of a starting a ramjet helicopter by moving the rotor by hand !.
Just what speed you designed it for I guess.

i have seen (yes in real life) someone starting a ramjet helicopter by hand. they turned on the spark and fuel and spun it as fast as they could, it started up quite readily actually...

Me- Then its too loose!
