The electric ramjet! or the zero combustion engine

Post by Viv » Sat Nov 06, 2004 11:51 pm

An old idea but I was suprised to see how old and to what detail it was thought out too.

Ramjets have been powered before by waste heat such as oil cooler wast heat but this is the first time I have seen an almost practical use for the Jakobs ladder.

Jakobs ladders are cool toys if you have a spare 10kv to 20kv supply, set up two wires hung on insulaters from a nice tree branch about ten to fifteen feet up is good, then space the wires apart about 1/2" at the bottom and 2" at the top.

Switch on and impress the hell out of your naughbours
