windmill-jet

Hi i'm a newbie.
This is slightly tongue in cheek but, I had an idea for an unconventional engine a few years ago and wondered if anyone here would know if it might work. Its not the most useful of engines as it would probably need a 'bump start' of several hundred miles per hour to get it going. It's posted here:

basically in order;
a ducted windmill that drives a compressor
that compresses a small fraction of the air that powered the windmill/turbine
which is then fed into a combustion chamber which,
creates an exhaust that entrains the bypass air to
'hopefully' add more energy to the air (that wasn't compressed) than was removed by the ducted turbine
thanks
