hey hey happy new year

Hi all. Been a while since I've been around, hope everyone is staying safe and well in these difficult times.

A happy and prosperous new year to you all, keep making obnoxiously noisy gas burners.

Simon

Hi Simon! I still burn some fuel and make some noise, mostly when I want to fire up a young engineer-to-be. You building anything fun?
Mike Often wrong, never unsure.

Just bought myself a minimum viable TIG machine at a knockdown price, need to find myself some argon at a price that doesn't require selling a kidney and then I'm planning on making up Larry's last published design (Lady Anne R09). I'd have done it with gas, but I don't have access to oxy-acet' any more, given that I jacked in a full time job just before (less than 3 days before, in fact) the first lockdown over here. Recently, I-ve mostly been buggering about with making PCP air rifles.
