Hi , I am new to pulse jets and have just built a Lockwood-hiller using a published plan, but increasing it about 30%. Needless to say it won't start It makes one loud bang then just flames, plus sometimes another bang 30 secs after turning off the propane. I have gone over the usual checks ( reading other posts on non-starting ) but no luck .
Is there anyone around south england who would be willing and able to offer any advice on seeing it ?
if so can you email c.berg@ntlworld.com

Yes! I am from the south west of England, trying to build an Elektra valveless one at the moment.

Thanks for the response, but you seem to be having your own probs with making your elektra ? If you know about lockwoods and can help I would be very greatful and would make the trip to visit you.
If you are still having probs with your ignition I could probably help you as I am an electronic engineer - but this is normally the easiest part to sort out on pulsejets.
