camera of combustion TOYOTA 2005 (escape catalyst )

Post by francisco » Wed Nov 22, 2006 2:33 am

hello, possibly somebody remembers those pictures of a toyota 4x4 2005 and then in another picture in catalyst that contains this automobile.

after walking for several hours traveling the you break up of my city in search of something to buy I found a container, absolutely full with catalysts castings of the toyota 4x4. here some pictures.

besides these catalysts I found of fiat stilo and others that non consco, was in discovering me if they could get that of chevrolet corsa(el that I already have calculated and he/she walks to the perfection).

can it be used as combustion camera?

that diameter and I release they should be the entrance tubes and exit ??

here accent a picture with the measures of the catalyst

min dia 50mm
max dia 145mm
long cone 80mm
long camera 150mm

which the measures of the pipes should be to form a lockwood that starts up as much as possible without air?

He's proposing using the catalyst chamber as a combustion chamber.

hello

this will already be my fourth pulse with camera of catalyst combustion

the first one that I made had worked of marvel

the combustion camera has a diameter of 120mm and the long of the cones of it is of 40mm

this pulse starts up with hardly 5psi of air, if there is wind he/she doesn't need air

this is the best thing that I can translate. . . . sorry

ok, here other pictures of the pulse go with small catalyst that you bends, and the toyota catalyst

These seem perfect for ready-made ram-jets ...

hello, today I have been calculating the volume of my pulses

I have noticed that the volume of the entrance pipe this among the 10%(en the best operation) and 16% of the total volume of the combustion camera

the exit pipe has seen that this among 82% to 106% regarding the volume of the combustion camera

my question is:

does it serve as something to know this? ?

can it apply it to some I calculate?

can I guide myself for the percentages of volumes or do I have q to keep in diameter mind?

I made the calculations keeping in mind the volumentes and reach these conclusions:

using pipe of interior diameter 50,8mm (for the 2 pipes )

the entrance should be of a long of 165mm

the exit should be of 1358mm

with a pipe of interior diamtetro 62mm( for the 2 pipes )

the entrance should be of 110mm

the exit tube should be of 912mm of long

that they say of these values?

does some leaf or book that I can help in these calculations exist?

my objective is that the pulse starts up without forced air

I have understood that so that this happens, in entrance diameter and the exit diameter they should be same

is this correct?

francisco cooreman

with regard to the ramjet

the truth that had not thought it, but. . . . does paraque serve a ramjet if I need 1 match of air in the entrance?

does some ramjet subsonico exist or that it remains in march without so much forced air?

thank you

drawings with the 2 types of diameters

62mm or 50,8mm

which seems better?

Definitely the 62mm. I'll post some dimensions today. (I posted them already, but want to check them...)

thank you mike! ! !

grateful total am

I am owner of one it manufactures that we produce escape pipes, usually to make a pulse of these it not takes me a time bigger to the 60 min

I will wait to that you announce their results and then I will build it

another thing that he/she was thinking it is to look for a constant between the section of the tube and the volume, so that it can use it in this new pulse

lamebtablemente should study lineal algebra because I have exam in the incoming week, but I promise to make the motor as soon as possible and to fix pictures

I thank again

This was similar and was a no-air starter.

I'm trying to fit geometry to your Combustion Chamber...

I have one set of dimensions that has a very short intake. It may not run, but can be added to to make it work if it does not. I'll work on an extension for the tail and intake.

Here it is:
INTAKE TUBE=196.4x62 dia.
COMBUSTOR=310
TAIL TUBE=972x62 dia.

Flare the intake to 1.25*62mm dia.

hello mike

some parts of the translation are not able to understand them

if not me equiboco, your me these saying that he/she adds him tube in the entrance and the exit

has prepared a drawing, in which I will add tube

f it doesn't end up starting up I will cut the product little by little until it achieves a good operation

all I will make it with diameter 62

I will allow it to line until knowing him to walk really well

then I will bend it in the 2 bends of 90 degrees

Here it is:
INTAKE TUBE=196.4x62 dia.
COMBUSTOR=310
TAIL TUBE=972x62 dia.

Flare the intake to 1.25*62mm dia.

hese measures the those of my motor or that of their motor? (sorry, my translator is not good)

as that of the rosoccojector it is? is there some link that he/she tells me as building it?

thank you
