Yes, amazing engine!

Any news since April on this one? Did you run it with full tanks?
No problem is too small or trivial if we can really do something about it.

Yeah, it split open in the UK after a good run. I have a dvd around here of the blowout; I'll get that bit and post it soon!

Test?
In the process of moving, from the glorified phone booth we had to the house we have.

No real time to work on jets, more space, no time.

Life still complicated.

Yeah, test. Ha. I kind of got in a pickle that I need to unravel this weekend. I wanted my build log to be up top somewhere, so made it "global announcement, which actually put it on every forum, and to reverse that, there's the "are you sure?" that got me scared I was going to accidentally wipe the log from existence, so thought I'd slow down and test. My test proves ive not created multiple threads, and that they all point to the same place...

All the welds split where the CC meets the exhaust tubes. It's in the pile now, with some of the u-bends harvested for someday's experiment with a two-banger to fill out the data set for 1 vs. 2 vs. 3

WOW, Is all I can say,
That is one nice motor.
Wish I had the plans for that 1, I'd whip one up also, :D
Do it a bit different, but would be the same shape and form, as I like the way it looks.

A bit about me, as I am a newbee here, and this is my first post.
I build 2stroke pipes, (expansion chambers)and just got into pulse jets, as of like 2 days ago,
I like the simplicity of them, and the noise they make, (music)
Ive been a motor freak since I was a kid, so yall know that PJs got my attention.
I have a couple of plans for the straight ones, but dont really want to invest that much time in a project, that might work.
Im lookin for a working pipe, dont care too much about the power, but would be nice to have one that whomps. :)
And looks good to boot.

Again, good work Mike.

Hey, guys! Here's my latest project. Not pulsejetting, sadly, but very fun. Anyone not mesmerized by a 3d printer printing cannot be my friend anymore. Just sayin'.

It's a 3d printer designed by myself and Bill Spracher as a mechatronics educational tool and vehicle for making tech jobs for amazing young techies!

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/44 ... 3d-printer
And more info to come at tekma3d.com

This is our first of several projects in diverse fields where Bill and I will expand our technical mentoring by creating products with the help of interns, with the goal of creating self funding businesses that make exciting new products and create the inspiring jobs that support them.

Support us or don't, but check it out!

Damn. I am mesmerised by CNC mills and routers though. Can I stay a nearly-friend?

I really like your XY axis design, thats extremely cool.

Been a long time since I've been here and obsessing about jam jars!
