FWE VIII problem

Hi all friends.
i have made a FWE VIII pulse jet but i cant start it.
i did all start procedure by the rule . i use butane gas and i control gas flow by capsule valve and a hand ball valve.i am sure about engine leakage,ignition system and fuel nozzle .i positioned the adjustable fuel line and blower line in optimum situation .
....Now when i start engine, the pulse waves and thrust are available and engine works properly but When i remove the air hose , engine stop immediately!!!!!!......
what can i do with the air hose?

Do you use a regulator on your gas tank? also, try propane if you have it handy

No dear . i dont use regulator but i can control gas flow by tank valve and the ball valve.(also the gas pressure is not so high)

1)Use a Rossco injector and try different positions in the intake
2)Use a bigger Propane tank.
3)Change Diameter of Intake to bigger Dia.
4)Change length of intake by using a sliding piece of pipe .

1) what is Rossco injector?
2) I made the engine by standard size.(do i need to change the lenght and diameter of intake)?

I posted a pic of my engine in valved section under,Identify this engine,mine is slightly diff. As yours,I can run it on 14oz propane can,I have better luck w/a torch flickering into the intake&set my air@20psi&start out w/air nozzle approx. 8or10" away from intake,than slowly increase fuel&move air in closer till she starts,here is a pic
