Here is a good one I found recently by Larry Cottrill:

"Imagine trying to design a machine gun that has to be muzzle loaded! And yet, that's exactly what most pulsejet designs are forced to do - even highly successful ones, like the Dynajet."

"You'll find that there are now only two states of matter: that which is useful for pulse jets, and that which is not!"

Maybe with acetylene or hydrogen there'd be a better chance. Who knows. Maybe on a different planet with a denser atmosphere or one richer in oxygen.

Larry Cottrill:

Man, when you're happily walking in The Land of the Roaring Pipes, that just about says it all.

There's a 'gut level' component to the experience that you really can't explain to anyone who hasn't struggled with it.

"When you're going through hell, keep going." - Winston Churchill

"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed." - Michael Jordan

"Every man is a damn fool for at least five minutes every day; wisdom consists of not exceeding that limit." - Elbert Hubbard

"The only man who makes no mistakes is the man who never does anything." - Theodore Roosevelt

"If you could kick the person in the pants responsible for most of your trouble, you wouldn't sit for a month." - Theodore Roosevelt

"The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don't play together, the club won't be worth a dime." - Babe Ruth

I read this last night on an Internet forum ... no origin was given.

Religion's got nothing to do with it..
I'll take science over religion any day.
Science flies rockets to the moon.
Religion flies airplanes into buildings

One mans call to his countrymen to pursue liberty and oppose oppression.
(considerable irony in that he owned slaves himself)

I wonder what call to action would move my countrymen in this day and age?

For #1, I would say that unfortunatly, it is too often a 24/7 state of mind for alot of our scociety.

and for #2, True ... As a universal law says ... "Everyting begins by us" ... But again, here too scociety became champion putting responsabilities on others.

Here are my favorites,

- Pointing someone? ... Look at your hand, for tree of your own fingers pointing YOU ...

- Talking about someone? ... You're actually talking about your self ... (Good or bad).

- Fear in others? ... Of what you are or can ...

- Accusing? ... Of something you probably do or did ...

- Evolved want to be? ... Not before responsable you become ...

- Solutions you're seeking? ... In others they are not ...

- Going through "Hell" ... Seek whom you were "Hell" for ...

- Who conquer others is powerful ... Who conquer himself ... Is MIGHTY …

Good reflexion ...
