Heh yea I figured I better go check my forum and switch it to admin aprove, and went through and deleted about 10 spammer names.
Oh how I wish i could get my file attachment thing to work :(
Mike have you noticed any difference in bandwidth use from the file upload size restrictions? It would be nice to cut things back so it could be put on a cheap webhoasting package.

Depending on what your problem is, this might help...
By default, PHP has a stupidly low upload restriction and will simply crop the connection if you overdo it, you get some comepletely random error in the logs, too. It's a php.ini thing as opposed to being a phpbb thing. That might be biting you.
Lord, how I hate php.

Sorry guys,
I just started a new thread on the same spammer thing....
Knock it on the head.
You think some people would know better and read first hey! (slap on wrist)
I did offer any assistance with this or other chores around here if i could be of help? Chase up dodgy accounts or something?
The new accounts poping up (i think i saw about 10 come up thisarvo), let alone whatever else they are doing, must be putting a strain on things?
Drop me a line if theres something i can do for the site Mike.
Rossco

Thanks, Rossco. I may just need another mod.
On another note, I wonder if your dog is deaf from testing the other day? ;-)

Mike Often wrong, never unsure.
