highest power to fuel, jet

Post by thecheat » Thu Nov 10, 2005 3:17 am

well, I was wondering (though this really isn't off topic... ) so, which is the best. Which one is the most powerful, and which one is best for a stationary to moving application under mach 2.

any help is quite welcome.

turbines, turbines, and turbines.
Pity about the cost, and the maintenance, and the frailty etc.
All those moving parts. The lack of design elegance, and build simplicity.
Far too practical.

well, ok how about weight to power ratio? I'd like to know some numbers on that. wouldn't mind knowing what a pressure jet is either.... (not incuding rockets)
