Fuel injected propane?
I know how to do it on valved designs, but just looking for some pre-ideas.
For all of the plumbing to make the ugly stick: $20 at a local small plumbing store.(this includes the brake line and other feul parts.

Looking at the attached picture i was looking for a diagram of the fuel you setup since it worked.

It's to late to edit my previous post, sry.
I used the fuel setup on page two, but when trying to start it all i got was a low rumble (about 4 a second), no thrust at all. Plus the metal, no red. What went wrong?

Not sure what you mean by "same dimensions". Same as what?

the pocket lockwood, I'd take those dimensions that is posted on oneof the pages and use those but get screw in parts like you've used here, I was wondering just if there was going to be any complications.

I don't see why it wouldn't work with acetylene. I don't know if mapp will work, it'll likely require that you make it a bit bigger.

Damn this is nice!! I am going to build one ASAP (wel I have 2 weeks with exams coming up monday, so I'll start in 3 weeks or so)...

A local store is selling all their pipe fittings that are larger than 1.5" at a lower price because they aren't used by normal household water lines, so for 25 euro's or so I can have all the parts!
I already have a lot of other parts (ignition units, sparkplugs, brake lines, needle valve, hoses etc etc..)

But what kind of fuel supply? I have a spray can with propane/butane mixture for my spudgun. This is too small I guess...
Or does it need acetylene? I can't find a definitive answer..

How much thrust could this engine give?

Welcome and have fun. The original pipewood was good for about a half kilo of thrust. Who knowswhat if you play with dimensions.
Fuel should be butane, propane or mapp gas. A BBQ tank would be perfect.

Done building it and it needs constaint air to run. Using prop/map. I show pictures soon. Thinking...

fuel rate should be very low, move the stinger in and out, leaving it in different positions while you move the feed air around, which should also be quite low.

Did you round the entry lip on the intake tube?

Do you think fine tread brass used under sink for drain would work with this or would it get to hot? It's thin walled and may be able to be worked a little more.

I've seen it in 1/2 ....1...2 and 4".....some coupling set up.....Most is crome plated brass...

I just bougt some pipe fittings, 2 1 1/4" bends, some 3/4" and 1" and some reducers. still no 2"pipe and the big reducers though..

Too bad that here only 1.5-2 reducers are available, nothing from 2" to a smaller diameter.

I just got all of my parts for my pipewood and after i got the sparkplug welded in i fitted everything together withought cutting down the pipes and got some bangs and pops and rumbleing so after i get everything cut down it looks like it just might run. As soon as i get it going i will try and find my camera and get some pics and video up.
