Here's some mildly amusing fire related midi ideas too. Smoke on the Water or Light My Fire might be funny, but I'd insist on the actual recording, perhaps as an instrumental. I dislike midis.
Or perhap Play with Fire by the Stones, there is something synergistic about combining music with the visual. I haven't given it much thought, but I am sure there is song and melody out there that is perfect for Boric Methanol Flambe'. Most of these are hokey I admit. In reality I'd want something intellectual and sensitive to match what I saw.

Here's a fuel/air/electrode device toward the bottom of the link, figure C and D. Might be of some use for some application in pulsejet land.
Mark

And some of these parts might have some philosophy that could be used for a pulsejet fuel feed.

See what is infra-red? (page 2) A few good snippets.

Maybe something here for jam jars or other combustion devices needing good fue/air mixing. I'd like to try this in the bottom of my piglet snorkeler with propane.

What's extremely impressive about this is that wonderful venturi intake with female pipe thread at each end. You need one of those!!!

What, no membrane needed? Laminar flow? Surface area? Fuel cell? Electricity from methanol, would be fun to both electric start and run your pulsejet on methanol.
Science News, April 2, page 211 has an article entitled Pinstripe Electricity, "Novel fuel cell relies on thin, aqueous streams." It says that the U.S. Army is planning to use it for laptops and radios, I would post my photocopy, but maybe I shouldn't because you have to pay for the information or subscribe to their magazine to read the article. Anyway, it is the same idea presented in Business Week, only a little more explanatory.
They talk about how water in a microstream is as viscous as honey. To do away with a membrane in a fuel cell is a big step.

More options for your favorite spark plug.

Scroll to see a couple of designs in coil/plug mating.

Very, very sexy! I'll consider ordering one of those. It would fit the marvellous new engine I am planning perfectly.

Fun with magnesium oxide and potassium phosphate. Maybe someone could concoct something similar but higher temperature for the jam jar crowd.

Ebay world stuff.

See the second picture, the one shape looks very pulsejetty. This would make for a funny pulsejet, "So, where did you find that shape, what is it from? ...."

If you are tapping, you may want to own the die too, you never know.

Slightly interesting is the heat range of our friend the spark plug. "How does heat range affect a plug?"

Hero with a twist. Imagine sitting around deciding to make this strange model. I wonder if you could design one that would spin to the tune of a Dyna-Jet or Tiger-jet? To me, this device is very clever on some level.

The device may indeed rotate "backwards" but it would probably do so a lot better if one of the chambers wasn't mounted "backwards" to the other three ;-)

Interesting observation Larry! Maybe you could notify the fellow who posted it. If you read at the bottom of this page, he says he would appreciate it if he were informed of any errors.
