Glu's for sale

I don't know if this is old info or new but here is a place to buy Gluhareffs. Be sure to check out the gallery.

Yes most of us are aware of Vortech. From what I hear from several people is that they are very poor. Vortech is where Luc bought his $3,800USD 130R, that only put out something like 45lbs. They are very overpriced aswell.

Thanks for the update. I didn't know that's where Luc bought his that he had to "tweak" or did he tweak a whole new engine after the "store-bought" let him down?

Dammnnnnn .... Are you stubern or what ... He he he. And thanks for the publicity bye the way ... he he he.

Why don't you try this one instead Mark :
I know this is the only place to buy good Gluhareffs. Be sure to check out their Website ... www.glc-inc.ca

That would be more helpfull for and to everyone ...

Okey ... I will say it one more time so no more confusion will happen again.

There is a flaw in the Gluhareff engine concept and this is why you won't get more then 50% of the rated thrust.

Also ...
Even if you read the patent 200 times, you won't be able to build one that produce 100% thrust ... Because Eugene had secrets which he did'nt put in his patent..

So ...
No one, including R.Q. Riley, Vortech, Windspire, Tipjet.com ... ect. Can produce and manufacture pressurejets that will deliver full thrust

And yesss M. Yuk. Vortech (Windspire) are the ones that sold me a $3,200.00 USD 130R pressurejet, that would deliver only 45 Lbs. of thrust.
They can't even build to plans, because the engine I received had a 1.800" Dia. 1st Stage, when the plans calls for 1.500".

But Heyyyyy ... Buy one and learn for your self .... That the best way to learn.

But ... Here's the easy solution ...
Conception GLC inc. (Viv Collins and Luc Laforest) are the only one in 48 years that were able to crack Eugene's code and secrets.

Even more Mark ... We can also demonstrate that Eugene Test Stand had something odd in the way it was setup. Something odd that could ... KHummm ... KHummm ... "Increase the thrust shown on the indicator".

Here ... This is a nice mechanical exercice for you guys.

Try to have a look at Eugene thrust stand and try to see where the "Ouuuppss" is.

Anyway, I hope it clarifys a few things.

Mark
Actually, I bought an Un-Tweakable Engine, they also let me down, the engine had wrongly manufactured parts and at the end, I realised they knew Fuckall of what they were actually building.

There is a big marjin between building what you see on a piece of paper ... And make it work to what it is suppose to do.

But, I went trough ALL with them ...

By the way Mark ....

Where were you when Viv and I solved the "130R powerfailure problem".????

Out in the sea, fishing for sqwids to cook with a pulsejet??????

Damnnnnn ... This thread is 48 page long and you are still bringing "Vortech"

Youououuuuuu .... Ground control to Mark ..... Do you read us??????

He he he he .... Mannnn .... Your getting old.

I believe you Luc. I don't have the picture of the Gluhareff test stand, but if you could link it or post it on your site or this site, that would be interesting to think about, is it smoke and mirrors?
I do have some recollection of your data, before you took it back, I tend to remember the interesting parts. But I didn't remember that that is where you got your anemic jet from that didn't perform.

I guess I was mistaken Luc. I remember you had elaborated how the engine wouldn't run back up once you brought it down to a certain thrust. For some reason I thought you later withdrew/deleted some of the information you posted. Maybe not.

You may have been thinking of Mr. M’s postings.
He had also posted in the Pressure Jet section, but those disappeared along with everything else when he vaporized into the mist.

Well I remember the strange case of Mr. M packing his bags, maybe it is just sensory overload. At the time I wasn't as focused on the sonic lock topic, because of my prejudice toward simple fuels/fuel tanks.

Okey Guys,

Here is a description on our the test stand works. Note that I have separated the paragraph where it explains how the thrust is measured. Now you guys try to figure out what is wrong with this, especially while measuring the thrust of an engine that has an unsteady thrust (Meaning push and release aprox. 136 times a second or 136 Hz.)

MANUAL DESCRIPTION TEXT :

GTS-15 Teaching Stand
The GTS-15 Teaching Stand is essentially a diagnostic laboratory for analyzing the performance of the G8-2 engine. It was equipped with a G8-2-15 engine, which was mounted on a 6-foot vertical arm that allowed the jet to move as thrust varied. An engine of any thrust-size, however, could be substituted. The arm attaches to the base of the test stand using two flexible Lord mounts, which act as elastomeric hinges.

The motion of the jet support arm is resisted by an oil-filled brass bellows, which is mounted to the frame 19 inches above the hinge point. When jet thrust compresses the bellows, pressure is transferred through a hydraulic line to a thrust gauge located on the instrument panel. The gauge is calibrated to indicate actual pounds of jet thrust.

END OF MANUAL TEXT

Remember, I have worked many years for CEL Aerospace, which is a company that specialise in building test cell for company such as Pratt & Whitney, Roll Royce, GE, Garrett ... ect. Designing and installing test stand, test cell and thrust stand was an averyday job for me.

You CAN'T adequatly calibrate an oil below, because it is hydraulic pressure which make the gauge needle move, especially with an engine that has an oscilating thrust figure.

Now, look at the picture and see where the bellow is mounted (19" above the pivot point). Now, in order to have a real 1 to 1 thrust ratio measurement, your reading device as to be exactly aligned with the engine center line. Otherwise, anything below that line will have what we call "A lever effect" and will bosst-up the thrust reading and you can't adequatly calibrate oil below, especially with pulsating thrust engines.

What I am saying here, is that you can have this stand give you an approxiamte but very low quality readings ... Or you can have this thing show what you want peoples to see. For a non familliar user, this could only be, like Mark said .... Smoke and mirrors.

That what is making me realise, that the pressurejet problems were probably know since day one ... But like I said, "Probably". But having the knowledge I have with these, it all makes me very suspicious.

Look at the picture and use your trigonometric and lever effect physics.

Best regards,

Luc

Hooooo ... And remember,

For my last pressurejet project, I was using an electronic loadcell mounted in the engine center line and still had problems reading my engine's thrust accuratly, until I figured out what was wrong with my instrumentation.

Reading a jet engine, that has a steady push is quite easy to do with a loadcell. But reading a "Pulsated" engine thrust, using the same loadcell, is a all different ball game here.

Smoke and mirror ???????? .... Maybe.
