Does anyone know of any hobbyist/amateur interest in this engine? So far, the only link I can find is of the Ceasaront company based in Canda. They make Pro38 reloadable rocket engines for hobbyists, but they also made the aerospike engine for Nasa's recent model tests. Does anyone have any info on this engine?

There has been some info on Unversity Aerospike research on the above site. Look under Advanced Rocketry news

Damn; why does everyone stumble onto a thing the moment I think of it? Aerospike occured to me because it is the ideal configuration for a twin-combustor pulsejet. It provides not only a nozzle but also a splitter vane between two pulsejet engines that work out of phase. two such engines working closely together must be physically divided to avoid one engine ingesting the other's exhaust gas. Aerospike seems to be invented for the pupose.
