Hello, I just started making propellants, and let me tell you, I SUCK, I have only tried making it once, and apparently it worked, but only like a smoke bomb, it had ignition and everything but no power, I am guessing this is because the mixture was not right, also, I didn't add "Iron Oxide" but the good news is that now, I have some. Another problem I have is, NO GRAM SCALE!, I have been searching the web for days! and I have not found a recipe with like, for example, " 5TBS of sugar, 10TBS of KNO3" or in cups, anything, does anyone know of a recipe like that? if you do, PLEASE let me know, I REALLY need this, I don't really want to buy a gram scale, they are... quite expansive.

Chemistry is not a guessing game.
Simple as that. It's about precise measurments and controlled amounts of reactants. You can't begin to say what you'll get out without knowing for certain what you are putting in.
Buy a cheap set of digital weighing scales off eBay or such. They have other purposes, but as such, even my local market sells a set with .01g resolution for 25 GBP. A worthwhile investment for any chemist.
