Wow! You are so lucky to part of the team running that dragster. Awesome! . Might want to point out the chemistry equation is a bit off. If you want I can give you a more correct equation
I really hope the crew has a great run a Shefield.
Please keep us up to date with what's happening and say hi to Carolynne.

Rocket Dragster
I know nothing about rocketry, but man alive! - LIQUID nitrous oxide! That sounds like your basic "industrial strength" oxidizer ;-)
Seriously, that looks like a beautifully engineered project.
Good luck to you and that obviously very sharp lady driver!

peroxide
Elegant, tidy set up on engines.
Nozzleless, Cool.
What is the fuel? Asphalt? Tar? Rubber?

Experience speaks more then hypothesizing ever can. More-so in chemistry.

Cellulose as a propellant ! Paper?? Seems a bit benign. Burn would be fast , furious and not long lasting I would think.
I would like to see the same set up oxidizing say a Epoxy/black tire rubber mixture grain. Powdered black rubber, 90% with a Epoxy binder would be cool! Hydrocarbons galore! It would be easy to make and mold. You could mix it and inject it into the C.C. around a center form. Load the starter charge from the far end. It would be easy to work with as it is benign until you hit it with the Juice. ! It can be dremelled, die ground after it sets up.
