I tried the epoxy formula from Nakka's site with moderate success, but the stuff is so expensive...
Well after a bit of thinking after I recently made some carbon fiber parts, I had an idea. Polyurethane doesnt work as well with CF as epoxy, but I had a bit of it in a cup and a bit of epoxy...
The stuff is much much cheaper than epoxy, less than 1/3 the price! Could a comparable propellant be made with PolyU?
I guess I could test it but the stuff shrinks a bit (7%) so finguring out the formula might be a challenge.

you can use Polyurethane as a fuel mixed with amonium nitrate, and it may work with some aluminum.

polyurethane
Hmm, seems like its extremely eco-harmful propellent though?

I tried it with potassium nitrate, didnt really measure it just poured some in a cup before the polyu hardened (its that minwax stuff that air hardens with no curative).
It lit ok, started to burn a few seconds later. It was very fuel rich, the flame went air seeking (I dropped it in a soup can). Burned very hot for a very very long time. I think the o/f ratio was about 60/40. Still very fuel rich
