I want to make an easier way to get the engine lit at the top and am having a hard time making electrical igniters thaf it through the nozzle yet ignite the propellant. So here is my idea:
I build a re-useable bulkhead that makes up the top of the propellant grain. It is attattched to an external power source (and this is where y idea comes in) by 2 metal strips with a small magnet glued to the back. The external igniter (large battery in this case) has 2 metal strips that connect to the ones on the rocket, and the magnet loosely holds them in place. When the rocket lifts off the detatch. To keep them from contacting eachother when they fall off I can make secure them together with epoxy and keep the metal face exposed. Here is my attempt at a picture:

Nichrome wire: Take some old wire out of a hairdryer and bend it into a curve. Into the nasal.....End Game!!!!! 12v dc and it becomes red hot!!
