Oh I have a potential rocket idea just your thoughts on this. Ammonium nitrate is soluble at over 1000g/100g of water at 100 C. Has anybody ever heard of a monopropellant rocket that would use 90% liquid AN similar to a H2O2 rocket? Can the AN be catalytically decomposed like H2O2? If not this still might work as a hybrid. The AN would release oxygen that could burn a propellant grain so the heat would sustain the decomposition of the AN.
