Elecric igniter

I`ve heard of many types of rocket igniters. I need a very simple igniter that is able to work always without mainteinance or replacement, maybe a circuit which uses a certain arangement of capacitor to produce a intantaneous spark of hight voltage and high intensity to light a fuse. Does it work if i just put some powerful caps in parallel or do i need some complex stuff?
(The power supply must be porable)
