hello if you read french I have a magazin that did goe quite deep in the subject

aparently printed in 1992
because the french made a lot of studies about the solid fuel ramjet their ASMP misil is using those ramjet they initialy burn like rocket for initial acceleration then when the flame front reach the air inlet it uncover it and the misil now flying fast enough smoothly switch to solid fuelramjet behavior
