Just wondering

Could oxygen and propane work in a rocket engine? And if so what kind of materials would i need to use for the cc so it does not explode on me.

propne and nox works O2 and propane should work to

Why not make a hybrid engine with Nitrous Oxide as the oxidizer and Plexiglas as the fuel? Simple, good performance and totally safe unless you are looking up the engine while firing it. Look at http://www.ukrocketman.com/rocketry/hybridscience.shtml for more info on hybrid engines.
