Deleted one of those, this is not a forum to find information on illegal activities. Ungiuded missiles are certainly not something i'd consider legal...

may I ask? WHY .RAR files!! I can't open them so a zip file would be great.

PS: where do you get this stuff from?

thecheat, sorry about that, I use RAR because this program has a better compression and can open ZIP files and ZIP can't open RAR files, you may go to Google and download a Trial version of RAR and open the files...

sorry about that...

Tom, sorry about that missile tutorial, but I put that tutorial just only for studie the engine, not for other reason, but in the future I'll avoid that kind of tutorials...

thanks

Red,

It's quite alright, but for others who didn't get to see what I removed, here's the appendix. Keep in mind, it was for building explosive missiles. Do you want to be taking advice from the author of this .pdf?

SuperHornet.

Now you are just scaring me. You mentioned an Oxygen tank from an Oxy-Acetalyne rig, then propane and nitrous.

I hope to god that you are not even considering using Oxygen and Acetalyne together for this application, and I still wince at the idea of mixing Oxygen and Propane in the sorts of ratios required for combustion rates needed in rocketry applications.

Just to satisfy my curiosity, any chance I could see some equations for what you are trying to accomplish? Just to get an idea of what you wish to achieve.

Tom. RE: Superhornet

I'm not always the most opened minded person, so ignore me if you think I'm over stepping here.

But.

In this instance, I think we need to either close the thread, or close it and delete the information.

This idea falls into the idiotic. This isn't experimentation, it's just stupid unengineered playing with fire, and I hope to god nothing happens.

I'm stunned there are people...sorry....children this incredibly retarded.

Sorry if I've offended anyone, but posts like this make me want to abandon pulse-jets altogether. This shouldn't be a forum for jackass stunts.

Easy, Paul and Tom. He didn't even imply that he was using acetylene, and I find his CO2 cannister nozzle and whipped cream nitrous attempt very creative. Seems a good post for a potential contributor if you ask me!
Maybe tell us something about yourself, Hornet? We're just a bit sensitive to guys that even hint at the very dangerous experiments. You didn't, and I'd like to follow your progress, personally.
Mike Often wrong, never unsure.

Hi Mike.

The rules in Canada regarding private rockets are very strict. I had to take a rocket range safety course, and get special approval by transport Canada to launch my liquid fueled rocket. For a good reason. They explode.

The rules in Canada, are completely different from the rules in the U.S.
Firearms and experimental aircraft of any sort pose a potential threat to society, therefore are not tolerated.

I don't want to see anyone do something as dumbass as connect a cylinder that should NEVER be refilled (that's why they put in big bold stamped print "DO NOT REFILL") and try and make a rocket from it. They just won't take the pressure, and would probably fail in one or two attempts (ever see the results of a mills grenade?)

It's asking for problems from local goverment, and it might even bring in new rules and legislation to outlaw (totally exclude) all liquid rockets, or private rocket engines in the future.

Why would I approve of something from someone who's not interested in learning the engineering behind it, so they can get their stupid kicks. And wreck it for the rest of us?

I'm not mad at you Mike, but, I'm asking you not to help/aid/abet Superhornet in any way.

Thanks,

Paul.
