I liked watching the takeoff as it lifts off the launchpad. Nice effect.

Just barley entered the flight test phase. All technical details will be in the book to come.
During this very first flight the engine ran on pure propane. I have been experimenting with
propane-diesel mix that seems promising. The exhaust smells jet-ish in a lovely way as well…

Do me a really big favor on your next test flight, could you arrange a good quality microphone and recording set up so that not only the take off is heard but more importantly the actual flight as it progresses up in height and speed, the Doppler rip as it gets going should be really some thing

Great work Axel,
Fins on the upper body can help the weather cocking, along with slightly reducing the lower fins area.
It is a bit tricky to do so and maintain a center of pressure behind the CG. Typically I think they look for 2 main body tube diameters (calibers) in between. Not so easy to translate to a pulse jet design.
It was genius with the magnets to allow it to throttle up before launching. I wasn't sure how to approach that problem.

Hi Axel, are you out there? Looking to find out if you can give us some details about the pulsejet rocket.
I just rediscovered your composite jet and rocket stuff again, and wonder if it's fueled by a can of WD-40?
