Test Stand / Test Bed Topic

Post by luc » Fri Mar 30, 2012 1:50 pm

Dear owner and moderators,

Here is a suggestion ...

Through years I've been a member, we often seen the Test Stand / Test Bed Topic coming back. In fact, I would be very curious in knowing how many times there was discussions on Test Stand / Test Bed through out this forum, but also probably very scathered through the forum too.

The fact is that "For any new member building an engine of what ever types, they always end-up asking that perpetual question "How can I build my test stand?", although the information is already posted, but probably not evidently or scathered.

Therefore, I recommend a fix or sticky topic be added to the "Tool & Construction" main subject with maybe a name like suggested here, or any other you will deem fit.

The goal is to ease the information access for this subject and direct the new builders to "Where is all the information" before they ask and members to repeat what is already said.

Face it ... Next to the engines, if there is a subject that will always come back, it's the Test Stand / Test Bed Topic.

Thanks and regards,

There is now a sticky in tools and construction. Sorry about the late delivery! Good idea, Luc!

No problems Mike ... We all understand you're a very busy guy ...

Again and like I said in another topic, there are so much stuff added since few years, that I think it should be good if some of the most common topics be made either "Stycky" or update some of the "Embeded" drawings, plans and other material so new peoples can have rapid access to these instead of asking questions answered long time ago.

Cheers,
