Mike:

Can I make a suggestion that you change the member list viewing permissions in the forum admin panel so that only registered and logged in users can see the member list.

This will stop spam harvesting by some bots

I have not been able to find that setting anywhere. Sounds good, though.

I am not running an active BB2 at the moment to check for you but I remember it was in the permissions section for forums, I will see if I can find it on PHPBB but they have moved over to V3 now so it may not be easy to find.

I do recall it was possible because at the time I wondered why;-)

I think it is a mod. It's not here. I want also to delete all users without posts. the vast bulk of registered users are now spam.

I will see what I can find for you, a lot of users do register and not post so deleting whole scale may ruffle a few feathers, again I will see if I can find a mod solution to that.

There was a mod to delete users automatically if they did not visit in a certain time frame and that may be a better solution, bots don't age well by their nature

I will research it over the weekend for you
