Who really owns this site. Is it still Kenneths? Or is it Bens, because I'm being left with the impression that the site is no longer being run by Kenneth.

Hi fellow forum users,
It may not be my place to say so; but Kenneth could use a little financial support to pay for the hosting charges.
I have sent him a few $10 PayPals, and it was totally painless !!!
The information gleaned from this site is certainly worth a modest donation.

Yes, Kenneth has not had it easy over the past year or so and can use financial help. Problems in private life have prevented him from being very active on the site. He has not really done very much for a very long time now.
Several people have editing privileges, but Ben has been the most assiduous in exercising them. He really does keep the site together, for all practical purposes, though the financial side is still done by Kenneth, our absentee landlord.

I will talk to Viv and see what we can do to help Kenneth, even if on the first deal, we were left short.
I invite Kenneth to contact us privately to establish what can GLC do to help.
But one thing is sure, his next part of the deal will have to be done first, before we do our part ... This time.
Anyway, I will bring the point to Viv and see his position.
Regards,
Luc

He he he ... I was talking donations.Ben wrote:Looking more for donations than ad sales, I think.
Dear old Ben ... You never miss one don't you ... Even if it means having someone else then you, loosing a donation.
Maybe you should let Kenneth answer this one, since YOU'RE NOT THE ONE ... Paying the bills here.

I see no commercial reason for Conception GLC to sponsor the site by paying for the cost of the hosting.Ben wrote:If he has to do something in return, he is losing a sale, not a donation.
As for Luc or I personally its up to us if we donate a few dollars to help out the same as any other private member.
