Until, the powers that be figure out how to reduce the preview size of attachments,
toggle whether images should be loaded/shown via your Browser settings.
In Opera, this can be accomplished by a button residing on its toolbar. Images can be loaded one by one if you so desire. The same should be accomplished somehow in other browsers. I find this is a much faster way to peruse multi-page threads.
I am really starting to like this browser.
