How about establishing a couple of special-purpose threads, such as 'Pulsejet Fueling Techniques' and 'Pulsejet Starting Techniques'. The idea is that these would be ONLY for real-life stories of 'this worked great' and 'this looked good but never did work right'. They should not be for haggling over technical details, developing theories, etc. - just for logging things like procedures and geometries that were actually tried, and what did or didn't happen.
What do you think? If this drew good enough examples, might even make another good 'sticky' to keep around for reference. I see it being in the 'Tools and Construction' forum. These are just a couple examples of subjects that have a lot of trial-and-error, lots of wildly different things tried, lots of anecdotal experience - but really hard to remember where you saw something interesting a few weeks ago.
Opinions?

Re: Special Purpose Threads
It was locked to all but it's moderators, but I think it should be open to any submissions. The mods can keep it on task.
Mike Often wrong, never unsure.
