Kenneth, please help Mark (Thixis)

Post by Mike Everman » Mon Nov 22, 2004 10:33 pm

Mark has told me how frustrated he is with the site, because he is rarely able to edit his posts. When he tries, he gets the "you can only edit your own posts" alert, and he's signed on as himself. Please check into it.
I noticed a new "Mark" name recently, perhaps his problems started then?

Ken, please look at Mark's profile to see why he can't edit his posts... he's quit the forum in frustration, please look at it.

I am tentatively back, I've adjusted my settings identical according to guru Mike, but have been having problems even getting this site to load properly the last few days. Maybe it's my server, maybe it's Florida or my cable provider, maybe the government is blocking me. I couldn't get the "always notify of replys" to take for the longest time, I think Luc was having that problem? I was saying no but it kept kicking it back to yes when I changed it.

PS The government blocking suggestion was a joke, more of a lashing out with sarcasm. This site hasn't recognized my name and password on endless occasions or it does but then for some reason makes me log on again in midstream when I click to post my paragraph, or it just fights me and won't let me log back on altogether. It's not just a problem of editing my own posts.

The site seems to be curiously choosy. Namely, I have not had even a tiniest problem with it. for weeks. Everything works as it should. I don't get it.

I've had hardly a problem with the site either. I was getting those 'reply notification' e-mails for a while but I managed to turn that off and now its perfect.
Trig IS fun.

I am getting reply notifications, but only because I want them and have ticked that option.
