cl NUDiS

Post by WebPilot » Tue Mar 09, 2010 5:20 am

A while back, I remember running NUDiS on the command line w/o the spreadsheet on my former µSoft machine.

Of course, you were 'in the loop' and had to use another program to plot the data files.

Was anyone else able to successfully run it this way?

Yeah, I was running it that way, and then made my own spreadsheet front end, not as complicated and not really more user friendly.

Reading no other responses, I assume NUDiS use has ground to a halt.

If you know how to use it it's a great tool but it's far from user friendly. Excel was never meant for a program like that and errors appear at random, even for random machines and you wouldn't know if it's a problem with the engine design or just a NUDiS crash.

 Thanks.

I need more than just 2 selections for end boundary conditions.

See topic, relevant wd's, for a diagram I am developing and shall use as a test case for cl NUDiS.

I'm having so much fun with other things this summer, this may take longer than I first thought to which to return.
