Hi , I am Anita , This is my first post to the forum and I present my best.
I want to build a KJ 66 but I dont want to spend hundreds to CNC Shop.
I always interested in with concrete and concrete with perlite is extremelly heat resistant.
Concrete is extremelly strong to pressure and It is possible to dope it with micro carbon fiber or nanotubes.
Concrete withstand to big fires also.
What do you think ?
Is it possible to construct a turbine and the compressor wheel out of this material ?

Please remember that ceramics, like concrete, hardly have any strenght in the field of pull/stretch. That's exactly the kind of force (centrifugal) that is induced in a high rpm spinning turbine wheel. Fibers might not help you there, the centrifugal forces might just rip off the concrete of the fibers.
Perhaps I'm a bit to negative about it, but consider what I say.
