MAKING HOLES FOR INLET STUBS

Post by GRIM » Fri Feb 01, 2008 11:40 pm

This is how i usually make the holes in the combustion chamber for the inlet tubes,

It is a very old fashined way of making large or odd shaped holes in sheet steel called CHAIN DRILLING , cut between the holes with side cutters and a little work with a rotary burr and you can produce acceptable holes , this particular hole took me about 10 minutes to make

might be useful to someone, who like me doesnt have a plasma or nibbler etc
