Jason

I'm sill here. I don't use a regulator. If you are worried try this.

Should work for propane.

Why are you continuing to ask this question? You have had 4 people reply to your shot gunned question all saying "No it won't flash back into a propane tank".
One LAST time. Flashback arrestors are a good idea for ACETYLENE tanks because acetylene can explode BY ITSELF as it is an explosive. THAT'S IT.

Propane butane hydrogen methane etc MUST HAVE AIR PRESENT TO BURN/EXPLODE. There is no air inside a comercially filled gas cylinders. The filling process purges them and air cannot flow into them.

If someone is telling you different they a need an education.

There are thousands of pictures and clips on the net of of Hot air Balloon burners all running on direct feed from propane tanks. IT IS OK.

Mike maybe we need to sticky this? I am totally fed up with this question being asked every damm month.
Cheers

without wanting to get bitchy, it is kind of annoying that his question has been shoe-horned into a thread that I started, and added to yesterday.

It's not like it costs anything to start a new thread...
