converting an air compressor to liquid.

I have an air compressor with a broken electric motor( the compressor unit is in good condition ).
I need to compress oil/water to about 30-40 bar.
before buying a hand oil/water pump that can do the job i would like to try to convert my compressor to liquid.

my biggest worry is the leaf valve system ability to withstand the pressure, I think that the crank-rod-piston system can withstand it easily.

is it possible?
other suggestions?
