small tank re-fillers and tank accessories

Post by Mike Everman » Mon May 22, 2006 3:41 am

Hi guys. Just got back from camping for a few days.
Eric just mentioned in another thread the small tank (like coleman style) refiller you can get from harbor freight. Just a dandy accessory.

Another I just got is an in line gage and fitting with the hand tightener for your BBQ size tank. I found it at a U-Haul store, and it has a cheezy gage that has bands for "hot, warm and cool" days to try and give you a fill level indication.

I'll be replacing that gage, of course.
Mike Often wrong, never unsure.

Yea those refil nozzles are the only way you can affordably get the 1 pound tanks.

Also if you are looking to power a pulsejet the valve will give an extreme level of fuel flow if you screw it onto a full 1lb tank.

Talking like a pirate does not qualify as experience, this should be common sense, as pirates have little real life experience in anything other than smelling bad, and contracting venereal diseases
