Although these 1.5" X 3" spice jars seem rather humble, they are a really neat size for a jam jar. Granted they need some sort of lid, but for so simple and light weight, a proportion like this will run with zest. And they are made of stainless steel.
They are cute to me, but can even startle the uninitiated when you light something of this size up, it's just a tiny jar but for it's size, it really resonates.
I've a metal syringe of similar dimension which is so zippy when it revs up. Spice jars could be good jam jars.
Here is one next to my Tigerjet for comparison.

And it's amazing how loud a tiny jar can be if you were to attach a tailpipe to it. Here's a Tigerjet Spicejar for your imagination.

Heres another Ebay item that may have Pulse Jet potential.

If you cut the rim off it would make a great leading edge for an augmenter maybe?
The material is probably really thin & poor quality but it just looks like a useful shape.

I feel certain a dog bowl would help your pulsejet woof or bark. Interesting ideas come from obscure sources, I suppose a dog bowl could be applied science. I suppose anything metal has potential for the prepared mind.
