Mike Evermans linear bearings on our test stand
Hey Mike thought you would like to see a picture of the bearings you kindly donated to us mounted on our Mk 2 thrust stand.
Heres the link (link deleted as peopel were upset about it, sorry for the inconveniance)
Viv
Edit, this was originally posted just to show mike the picture and to acknolidge what a nice guy he was for sending them to us with out even asking for the postage.
Some people seem to have taken this as some thing completly differant and that saddens me an awful lot, using a thankyou to some one as an excuse to start an argument is excrable in my oppinion.
We have removed our comments to those people in the interests of peace and to stop any further argument that is nothing to do with the original intent.

posting the link to your forum doesn't do much for people that don't have a username and password to access it.
unlock your forum so a guest can read, but not post, then we'll be able to view it.
Alternately you could post the picture in the file space for your webpage and link there. PHP allows for "hotlinking" to an image simply by putting the url of the image in the .

I guess that I would reply with...
I don't want to register on your forum. I am on enough forums as it is...I don't need another "time waster".
I could ask you then, don't tease us. Keep your forum your forum, keep Kenneth's forum Kenneth's forum. If its something that you think is secret, keep it secret, if not post it here AND there, or here, not there, or there, not here. I think it pointless to post something, then not allow anyone that is not registered to see it. I guess if you guys can't be bothered to post links that work, I can't be bothered to give you more information about me by registering for your forum.
PHP will allow guests to read and not to post. All you have to do is configure it as such. I would think that trade secrets would not be posted in a public forum anyway...once divulged in a public forum, by people with the right to have them, they aren't trade secrets anymore.
Just my 2 cents worth, take it or leave it.

I deleted this message, because I felt it would be inflammatory and not in the best interests of the Forum.
Sorry about the wasted bandwidth!

Thanks for the photo, guys. I would have thought that you'd put them in line, with some separation, but I don't know what directions your loads are in, so I can't recommend further.
Mike Often wrong, never unsure.

First post in this thread reposted here with the edit
Hey Mike thought you would like to see a picture of the bearings you kindly donated to us mounted on our Mk 2 thrust stand.
