Burner design

Post by pezman » Mon Mar 28, 2005 3:43 am

An odd bit of serendipity (I suppose all serendipity is, by definition, odd). I worked out a design for a venturi fueling setup and started working out how to build several of them. I settled on casting for making the assembly since the plumbing parts to make the burner made them a little pricey. While looking at plans for DIY furnace, I came across a few interesting venturi designs that can be built of standard plumbing parts. Here are a few links.

This might make a nice front end for a valveless, since the velocity in the tube exceeds propane's flame-speed.
