I am new to this forum and want to build my own model gas turbine. As an engineering student I understand the principle of working of gas turbines, but have some doubts. Can somebody kindly explain to me the function and working of the diffuser in the compressor stage, I have tried searching alot on this subject but have not found much. A 3D cad model or a detailed explaination would be very helpful. Also can anybody tell me about some good books to get started with model turbine engines?
