hello all!

my name is stephan höglund and i live in sweden!

i am very very interested in starting to build a annular combustor turbojet engine based on a turbine wheel/kompressor wheel combination from a GARRETT TV94...now i wonder if anyone in here knows the best suitable partnumbers of turbine wheels and compressor wheels.....i dont seem to be able to find the needed data on the available wheels.....appreciate any help with these numbers.....best regards/stephan

thank you john......is that wheel combination the most suitable one?.....i saw those before i was wondering about other comp wheel possibilities......i found a nice outer shell for my engine so now it is no turning back....... :D ....it is a stainless steel cylinder with an outer diameter of 8,5" it is a pressure cylinder which had about 7 bars max pressure before, it should work great here i think....best regards stephan

Hi Stephan

An 8.5" dia case might be a little small as this comp wheel is 5.55" dia , it doesn't leave a lot of room for a diffuser .

Have you checked what Ash is doing on the TV94 Turbofan Build Thread here in the Gas Turbine Forum , next one down to yours :-)
