Hi Scott

If you use it , be very careful that its only used where it can't flake off and go thru the turbine wheel , potentially destroying it in the process :-(

It is used sparingly in commercial turbine engines , but lotsa unknows when we want to use it in DIY engines , probably safer for us to only use it for "cosmetic" reasons on non vital componentry .

Cheers
John

I have been using ceramics with great success in the racing industry for many years now.We coat many turbos ,pistons ect,ect..I see some good 50% thermal reduction in many parts primarly racing exaust systems.Im willing to do some coating if someone wants to do some testing..Check out my site www.wolfeblasting.com I build many large turbocharged bbc. pondering on the idea off building a twin turbo jet from a pair of 106mm turbos similar to Mr. Burrills set up.My thinking I can do some serious testing then..
