shafts parameters

Post by wiktor » Wed Mar 03, 2004 5:27 pm

Is there any site in the internet where I could download the documentation or parameters of the jet engines' shafts? I need the dimentions and material parameters. I am working on the program to optimize the mass of the jet engine shafts.

Possible info:

http://www.alleghenytechnologies.com/al ... efault.htm

http://www.msm.cam.ac.uk/phase-trans/mphil/Trent1/

http://www.maher.co.uk/alloys.php

http://www.ashot.co.il/aerospace2.htm

I would suggest you check out a patent site such as gb.espacenet.com and do a little looking through some previous design.
