how is the oil kept in in a ball bearing turbo?

if you use angular contact bearings do you just not need oil seals? let it burn off the oil??

I've never built one! I would use metallic seals and flow oil from inlet to sump! Injection and return......

Keep it cool!!

Do what they do on a Automotive Turbo Charger......

Just a thought!!!

Most ballbearing turbos have the same type of oil-seals as the normal ones.
