I am going to order some books on the gas turbine topic. My copy of shreky's book was destroyed by water, so I need that.
But I found a paperback and was wondering if it is the same book...

The Kamps book has got a fair number of calculations in it for turbine wheels and such, but much is about the Kamps turbine with drawings, build-hints and a chapter about how to take accurate measurements on the engine. It also contains some turbine history and info about other micro-turbines.
Well worth buying if you ask me!
